Ranfurlie Asset Management wins national marketing award

25 October 2022

The team at Ranfurlie Asset Management (RAM) recently won a prestigious Shopping Centre Council of Australia Marketing Awards for 2022, announced as the winner in the Innovation category (Multi – 2 or more centres) prevailing over four other strong entries from fellow finalists Charter Hall, and Scentre Group (Westfield), for the implementation of its HQ digital platform.

This was the first time that RAM had entered a campaign in the annual awards, and entries are received from shopping centres across Australia for a range of categories.

“For RAM to have gained national award recognition over two of the giants of our industry is a remarkable achievement,” confirms Deputy Chairman, Marshall Dennis.

“HQ is a unique digital community engagement platform that facilitates communication and interaction between small sub-regional shopping centres, their specialty retailers and the local community. This is the first time that HQ has been used for activity centres in the country. It’s a leading-edge initiative that we launched across our centres in 2021, taking our community engagement activity to the next level,” explains Marshall.

The HQ platform utilises ‘microsites’ as dedicated community engagement hubs, accessed via QR codes and URLs, to create and launch interactive digital campaigns such as consumer opinion polls, live trivia games, personality checklists and videos, Spotify playlists and provide instant rewards via digital coupons for retailers.

The award judges commented that HQ was a strong demonstration of the role of marketing in using technology and innovation to drive sales to connect with the community.

Congratulations to the RAM team!
