New Dennis Family Homes Displays find sweet spot in Ballarat
6 June 2013
Now available for inspection, the new Dennis Family Homes Display Centre at the Lucas Estate in Alfredton features the Macedon 262 and Hastings 242. Both designs are single storey, four bedroom homes which form part of the Dennis Family Homes Inspirations Series.
“Our choice of homes for the new displays has hit a sweet spot in the market, with both designs available in a range of sizes to suit all buyer profiles from first home buyers, investors or downsizers through to growing families,” Dennis Family Homes Ballarat Area Manager, Peter Martin said.
“The immediate reaction from visitors and feedback received on these homes has been exceptional. People like the layouts of both designs and regularly comment on the generous size of the bedrooms,” he added.
Ballarat is currently the only location where the Macedon design is available for viewing.
“The Macedon is one of the latest additions to our range and has never previously been on display,” Mr Martin explained.
“Being fortunate enough to have the first Macedon display located here in Ballarat has therefore provided a wonderful opportunity for local buyers to view the home in person.”
Suitable for construction on blocks from a minimum width of 16 metres, the Macedon floor plan offers four size variations of 26, 29, 32 and 34 squares. The display at the Lucas Estate is the 26 squares version and showcases the Resort facade, one of eight facade choices available with the Macedon design.
Mr Martin said the Macedon display features many of the optional extras available to Dennis Family Homes customers.
“We’ve looked at every detail in our luxury upgrades,” he stated.
“Amongst many optional extras showcased in the Macedon display are the addition of an alfresco at the side of the home accessed through bi-fold doors, an impressive trio of skylights in the Family/Meals area and a double sized island bench with Caesarstone top in the kitchen which not only provides extra work space, but is also great for sitting up at to eat from.
“We have also incorporated special fit outs to both the kitchen pantry and walk-in robe in the master bedroom and installed Bamboo timber flooring through various areas of the home, whilst externally we have applied full render to the front facade.”
Visitors to the new Display Centre will also find another quality family home in the Hastings.
Available in three size variations of 21, 24 and 28 squares, the Hastings is suitable for blocks from just 14 metres in width. On display is the 24 squares version of the Hastings design, incorporating the Boulevard facade, which is one of six facade options available for this home.
“One of the most popular features of the standard Hastings floor plan is the light and bright open study area near the kids’ bedrooms which feels like its own wing of the house. It creates a space for the young ones, but still allows easy parental supervision,” Mr Martin observed.
“We’ve also added a number of optional extras to the Hastings display, including a rear alfresco and a side decking to create a further outdoor entertaining zone. Bi-parting doors from the Family and Meals areas lead to the outdoor zones.”
External upgrades to the Hastings display include a Colorbond roof and full render to the front facade.
Mr Martin said both the new display homes were ideally suited to the Lucas Estate, which is positioned in Ballarat’s western growth corridor.
“The Lucas Estate is attracting everyone from young couples and families to empty nesters. With a great location and plans for two schools, a retirement village and a major shopping centre on its way, it holds widespread appeal and is a great place for people to be building their futures,” he commented.
Open for viewing daily from 1pm to 5pm on weekdays and 12pm to 5pm on weekends, the Dennis Family Homes Display Centre is located at Lot 4-5 Hunter Street at the Lucas Estate in Alfredton. The displays can be contacted directly by phone on (03) 5336 8852 or (03) 5336 8854.
