Dennis Family Makes $20,000 Donation to Australian Red Cross

On 13th February, Dennis Family Group Director, Adele Levinge visited the Australian Red Cross Head Office in North Melbourne to present a $20,000 donation on behalf of our organisation.
The donation was the total proceeds of our 2023 Christmas fundraising campaign in support of the charity.
The amount was made up of funds generated from various auctions and raffles held across the company and boosted by a separate contribution from the Dennis family.
“We are proud of our long-standing association with Australian Red Cross through our annual Christmas fundraising initiative and particularly thank our staff and suppliers for their incredibly generous support,” Adele said.
Australian Red Cross Adviser, Philanthropic Giving, Nick Gramatakos expressed his organisation’s deep gratitude for the donation.
“It is only through such amazing generosity from supporters like Dennis Family and others that we are able to continue being there when and where Australian communities need us most,” he noted.
Due to the increasing nature of severe weather events, the impacts of conflicts abroad, and complex challenges for some of our most vulnerable community members, the demand for programs and services provided by Australian Red Cross has never been greater.
“This donation from Dennis Family will support critical activity across our core areas of work including emergency services, community programs, and migration support. For example, this includes supporting people recently impacted by flooding in Far North Queensland, ensuring their immediate needs are met and supporting initial recovery efforts,” Nick explained.
Following the cheque presentation, Nick provided Adele with a tour of some of the facilities located at the Red Cross Head Office, including the Victorian Emergency Operations Centre and the charity’s food pantry.
