Mortlake display in Shepparton top of its class

Dennis Family Homes has added to its award honours, with the Mortlake 292 display in Shepparton having been recognised amongst the winners at the Master Builders Association of Victoria’s North East Regional Building Awards for 2015.

The awards were presented in Albury on 12th June, with the Mortlake being judged the Best Volume Builder Display Home in the $300,000 – $400,000 price category.

Dennis Family Homes Shepparton Area Manager, Jason Watts said the award was outstanding recognition for the efforts of the company’s local staff and the Melbourne-based design team.

“Dennis Family Homes has established a strong presence in the Shepparton area and our reputation for quality has only been elevated by the exceptional standard of construction and finish seen in our current display centre at The Boulevard estate,” he commented.

“Our winning Mortlake 292 display was the first time we had shown that particular design anywhere and it has clearly made an instant impact. We think it’s a standout and are extremely proud that the display has been judged top of its class in the north east region by the MBAV.”

The Mortlake floorplan includes an alfresco at the side of the home and walk-in robes in all four bedrooms as standard features. Visitors to the display admire the great use of space which is aided by a large walk-in pantry and also walk-in linen storage.

Optional extras shown in the Mortlake display include timber-look flooring to much of the home and a special fit-out to the spacious kitchen. The use of boutique doors and windows enhance the light, bright feel of the open kitchen, meals and family living area which leads to the alfresco.

The Mortlake can be accommodated on blocks from 14 metres in width and has been displayed in Shepparton with the Tempo facade.

Visitors can view the award-winning Mortlake display alongside two other fabulous designs – the Cosgrove 292 and Charlton 352 – at the Dennis Family Homes display centre at The Boulevard estate. The displays are located just minutes north of the town centre at Lot 323-325 Canterbury Avenue, Shepparton.
