Mortlake takes home an HIA award
20 September 2019
Our popular Mortlake 293 display at Warragul’s Waterford Rise estate has been voted Victorian Metro South Region’s Best Display in the $300,001 – $400,000 category.
The Mortlake continues to be one of our bestselling designs, with a family-friendly floor plan that comes in a range of sizes.
Dennis Family Homes’ Senior Interior Designer, Gail Connor, was there on the night to accept the award and commented that the Warragul display showcases creative features that are popular with customers.
“The display’s light colour scheme with earthy tones resonates with people looking for an inviting relaxing home and has drawn positive comments from visitors,” explained Gail.
“However, it also features creative cabinetry and finishes that demonstrate cost-effective ways of customising a home.
“The use of clever lighting and textured tiles along with innovative cabinetry styles in the study contribute to the home’s custom feel.”
The display’s appealing façade has also drawn interest. The use of 300 x 600mm concrete look porcelain tiles that clad the master bedroom combined with feature render to the portico and brick to the garage, results in a striking, yet low maintenance finish to the home.
Suitable for construction on blocks from 14 metres wide, the Mortlake is available in five floorplans, from a 23 square, 3-bedroom version through to the 29 square, 4-bedroom version on display at Warragul.
Open daily from 11am to 5pm, the display is situated on Highvale Rise, Waterford Rise estate in Warragul.
