Community Giving

The Dennis Family Corporation has a long history of helping others and works closely with several charities.

The company has built numerous charity homes around Melbourne and regional Victoria and works with organisations like Melbourne Legacy, the Property Industry Fund and Doxa.

The Property Industry Fund (PIF) brings together representatives across the industry in a united effort to assist homeless and at-risk young people.

We’re one of the biggest supporters of the PIF’s annual major fundraising effort, the National Hard Hat campaign, having raised more than $250,000 for the initiative over the past 15 years.

We also host cadets as part of Doxa’s cadetship program. The program supports talented young people facing challenging life circumstances to complete university and gain the skills needed for an employable future.

Cadets have worked in sales, marketing and human resources teams at Dennis Family companies.

Community Funds

In keeping with this philosophy of giving, Bert Dennis launched the company’s Community Funds program to support and give back to the neighbourhoods we create.

Community Funds have now operated across our residential developments for over two decades and have distributed approximately $1.2 million in grants to eligible groups to help make hundreds of programs and projects possible.

In 2023, 115 not-for-profit groups across our six Victorian estates received grants as part of the Community Fund program.

Community Events

Dennis Family Corporation also organises a calendar of community focused events and festivals in its estates throughout the year.

Events include movie nights and a number of special celebrations around important occasions such as Diwali, Australia Day, Easter and Halloween.

These often draw large crows from within the local neighbourhood and surrounding areas.
