Hats Off to PIF Fundraising Milestone

20 July 2023

Dennis Family Corporation (DFC) is a dedicated supporter of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF) and its charitable endeavours to assist homeless and at-risk young people.

DFC founder Bert Dennis was also PIF’s inaugural Victorian Chairman, whilst his eldest daughter Adele Levinge was formerly a member of PIF’s Victorian Board of Advisors and continues to maintain the company’s long-standing association with the organisation.

DFC supports PIF each year with a widespread fundraising effort across the organisation to assist the annual National Hard Hat Campaign.

Having previously raised almost $250,000 towards this cause over the past 14 years, this year the company added a further $8,500 to that accumulative total through individual staff donations from their June pay, morning tea collections at its Armadale and Notting Hill offices and a separate donation from the family.

This year’s tally has now taken DFC beyond the quarter of a million-dollar historical milestone in support of this initiative.

“We were thrilled to pass the quarter of a million-dollar mark this year and thank all within our organisation for their continued generosity,” confirms Adele.

“Part of the reason the strong connection we enjoy with PIF has such longevity is that our values are so closely aligned. The two PIF Haven House projects in South-East Melbourne and Shepparton being assisted through this year’s campaign are wonderful initiatives to get behind, and the Hard Hat Campaign is something we would encourage everyone within our industry to support.”
