Australian Red Cross says thank you
5 April 2023
The Dennis Family Corporation’s annual staff Christmas fundraising drive in support of Australian Red Cross has set an all-time donation record.
The result was achieved through the generous support of staff members across a number of initiatives including a Christmas morning tea, gold coin
donations, raffles and a silent auction covering an array of fantastic prizes generously donated from a range of suppliers. A separate donation from the Dennis Family contributed to the grand total of $25,000 and represented the highest-ever total raised for Red Cross through its annual Christmas campaign.
The donation of $25,000 was presented to Australian Red Cross Head of Philanthropy, David Macdermott and National Emergency Services Transformation Manager, Australian Programs, Erin Williams, by Dennis Family Group Director, Natalie Postma at Australian Red Cross National Office in North Melbourne on 29 March.
The Australian Red Cross team conveyed their appreciation to everyone who contributed to the Dennis Family’s 2022 Christmas fundraising effort at the presentation with Mr Macdermott confirming.
“We’re grateful to the Dennis Family and Dennis Family Corporation for their generous donation. This donation allows us to continue our work on the ground, supporting vulnerable communities and families in Australia who have recently been affected by disasters.”
“By supporting Red Cross, Dennis Family Corporation are playing their part in making the world we live in a better place,” he added.
