Ashbury Estate Southern Reserve In Progress

In great news for families and nature lovers of every age, construction of Ashbury’s newest park is underway, and on track to open to the public in early 2024!

Located at 85 Ashbury Boulevard, Armstrong Creek, the new 2.7-hectare Southern Reserve includes a conservation zone and will feature an impressive array of native shrubs and grasses including Woolly Grevillia, Native Fuchsia and Cushion Bush among others.

Designed by landscape architects, SMEC, the new park will feature a range of recreational facilities including walking paths, a barbeque area and plenty of undercover seating.

There’s something for all age groups with not only a fun playground featuring an array of swings, trampolines and a custom-built play unit, there’s also a sports court with basketball and netball goals.

Designed to appeal to visitors of every age, the new reserve is sure to be a wonderful hub for the community to come together and enjoy for years to come.
