The opportunity
Dennis Family Homes is offering an attractive full-time job opportunity in Notting Hill for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Applications Analyst for the pre-site and construction business. The incumbent will manage and support complex software applications used with DFH and lead a team of Applications Analysts.
Reporting to the General Manager of Digital Transformation, this role ensures that pre-site and construction applications are running smoothly and delivers improvements by the way of projects and minor enhancements.
This is a key role within the technology team, providing an excellent career opportunity with attractive remuneration. Training will be arranged and conducted in Dennis Family processes.
About you
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software applications, both SAAS and On premise.
- Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications.
- Experience with testing and deploying software applications.
- Familiar with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for software applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues related to software applications.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, organise and prioritise work.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and other technology teams.
- Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively to build positive working relationships.
- Strong customer service skills to provide end-user support.
- Knowledge of change management best practices and techniques.
- Familiar with a various software applications and technology platforms, with experience in ClickHome, Databuild, Autech and ArchiCAD highly regarded.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
