Over 50 percent of the first stage release of Modeina, a new master planned residential estate just 25 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD in Burnside, has sold just days after sales opened on Monday.

Peter Levinge, Chief Executive Officer of Modeina’s project managers the Dennis Family Corporation, said interest in the much-anticipated first sales release had been so overwhelming, particularly from people already living in the area, that the second stage release has been brought forward.

“Modeina has enjoyed a flying start to its first week of sales with over 90 percent of interest from buyers already living close by in areas such as Caroline Springs.

“Often families consider either upgrading or downsizing the homes they have lived in for years but they want to remain within the local community.

“Due to the level of demand from local interest we have released another quota of exclusive blocks ahead of schedule,” Mr Levinge revealed.

Modeina offers a unique opportunity as it unlocks the last parcel of land in the north-western Melbourne suburb of Burnside, giving access to affordable, good sized blocks just 23km to the CBD.

“Modeina has given people living in Melbourne’s north-west the last opportunity to find the perfect block but still have access to the amenities they are familiar with and stay close to friends and family.

“Given the high demand at Modeina, it is apparent that buyers are recognising an opportunity of great quality and will need to act quickly to secure their perfect block,” Mr Levinge said.

Block sizes in Modeina’s initial releases vary between 439 and 725 square metres, with prices ranging from $280,000 to $355,000.

Modeina is situated in Burnside 23 km from the CBD, neighbouring Caroline Springs, in a well-established area with a shopping centre, schools, childcare and bus services. There is already convenient access to the Western Highway from Westwood Drive.

The vision for Modeina is to bring forward the provision of local infrastructure from the outset, including a Council community facility, state primary school, playgrounds and creek side park. Local residents will also benefit from future direct access to the Calder Freeway via a planned extension incorporating Westwood Drive and Calder Park Drive.
