New displays add to northern exposure

23 June 2015

Dennis Family Homes has added to its display home presence in Melbourne’s north by opening a display centre at the Merrifield estate in Mickleham.

Featured on display are the family friendly Hastings 282 and Brookdale 272 designs, which are amongst the established favourites in the Dennis Family Homes product range.

Hastings 282

The Hastings design features clever zoning for a growing family with entertainment areas to cater for all family pastimes. The display is the 28 square version and includes a home theatre as a standard feature of the floor plan. Customers can opt to utilise this versatile room for any number of alternative purposes to suit their family needs.

The welcoming entry hall, shown with the addition of an optional tiled and mirror feature wall, leads to the family hub comprising the open plan kitchen, meals and family space.

The children have their own ‘wing’ with three bedrooms at the rear of the house, while the spacious master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and stylish ensuite is located at the front of the home, giving privacy for the grown-ups.

Featuring the contemporary Boulevard façade, the display has been constructed with a range of optional extras such as the timber look flooring, spacious alfresco at the back of the home accessed by a large double glass sliding doors, the contemporary shelving unit in the home theatre, Caesarstone kitchen benchtop and a Colorbond roof.

The Hastings design is also available in two smaller size versions of 21 and 24 squares.

Brookdale 272

The Brookdale is an inviting family home and has space for everything including a games room and a study which are standard in the 27 square version. The family’s sleeping zone consists of four bedrooms with a master bedroom located at the rear of the home. There is a separate living room at the front of the house and at the heart of the Brookdale is an open plan kitchen, meals and family area.

The versatile Brookdale design is particularly suitable for corner blocks, as shown with the display in Mickleham. A large alfresco, accessed by timber sliding bi-parting doors, has been added to the side of the home to activate the large side yard.

Numerous optional extras are showcased throughout the display. Upgraded items include oak-lined ceilings to the portico and entry, additional floor tiles and deep Caesarstone kitchen island bench. The use of timber is a notable feature throughout many areas of the display home, including on the window frames and sliding doors in the games room and the master bedroom which lead to the rear outdoor paved area.

The Brookdale is available in six different facades, with the Resort façade featured on the display in Mickleham. Customers are also able to choose the design in three other smaller variations of 20, 22 and 24 squares.

Open for viewing daily from 11 am to 5 pm, the Dennis Family Homes Display Centre at Merrifield is located in Newmarket Parade, Mickleham.
