Marry me Emma?

20 June 2019

There was a new home handover with a difference in Echuca recently when Liam Russell surprised his partner Emma Wright with a marriage proposal just as the couple was taking possession of their newly completed home.

Clearly a romantic at heart, Liam had phoned Dennis Family Homes Building Supervisor, Mark Jakobs, a few days before the scheduled handover of the couple’s property.

He arranged early access to the home so he could lay an arrangement of rose petals on the floor spelling out ‘Marry Me Emma?’.

A bottle of sparkling wine and a bunch of flowers nearby sealed the deal.

According to Dennis Family Homes insiders present on handover day, Emma appeared blown away by the unexpected proposal but quickly said “yes!”

The young couple, who both work locally, have now moved into their new home and are no doubt looking forward to the next big event in their life, a wedding!
