Dennis Family Homes open new displays in Wodonga
30 November 2015
Family hub and outdoor living are the key focuses of the new home displays by Dennis Family Homes, the Macedon 322 and the Waterford 232, which are open for inspection at the Palms Display Centre at White Box Rise estate.
“We had a fantastic opening weekend with 250 groups coming through the new displays. It was good to hear first-hand feedback from customers. They love the family indoor and outdoor living areas on both displays,” Dennis Family Homes Albury Area Manager Glenn Wilson said.
“With the new displays, we have taken the opportunity to showcase the versatility of our floorplans. The Waterford display has been flipped to take advantage of the corner block and we have also added a large alfresco area. We have also reconfigured the kitchen for the display and added a servery window above the kitchen sink. This is a great feature for the family to enjoy outdoor dining and entertaining,” Mr Wilson said.
“The Waterford display has a great sense of space resulting from clever use of optional extras such as higher ceiling height, large bifold doors in the living and meals area, mirror feature wall in the living area and the light coloured porcelain floor tiles,” Mr Wilson added.
The Macedon is a popular large single storey design that suits a growing family. The 32 squares version on display has three separate living spaces including a playroom for the children, a well-positioned study near the kitchen and a large pantry.
“Everybody has a place to call their own in the Macedon. Parents can enjoy peace and quiet at the front of the home either in living room or their luxurious master bedroom. The kids’ bedroom occupy their own zone and of course the family can come together in the central family hub,” Mr Wilson said.
“There is a lot of demand for a butler’s pantry at the moment. So for the Macedon display we have upgraded the kitchen to show how to create an enviable space with a larger Caesarstone bench and a fully fitted butler’s pantry complete with cabinetry and a sink. It was no surprise that this feature was a hit with the customers,” Mr Wilson said.
Other optional extras that are showcased in the Macedon display include the stone feature wall with a sleek fireplace, Velux skylights and the television cabinetry in the family area. Creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living is made easy by the addition of large bi-parting doors to access the large alfresco.
The Waterford design can fit on blocks starting from 12.5 metres wide while the Macedon requires a block with a minimum of 16 metres wide.
The Dennis Family Homes Wodonga Display Centre is open for viewing daily from 11 am to 5 pm at the White Box Rise estate on Maygar Street, Wodonga.
