Bunnings opens at Tarneit Park Hub

4 August 2021

Ranfurlie Asset Management, Dennis Family’s retail and commercial arm, has successfully added Bunnings to its portfolio of retail/commercial developments following the opening of the new superstore at Tarneit on 2nd July.

The arrival of Bunnings marks the first stage of a new precinct being created by Ranfurlie known as Tarneit Park Hub, which is situated adjacent to Tarneit train station and Dennis Family Corporation’s Westbrook estate on the opposite side of Leakes Road from Tarneit Central Shopping Centre. You can watch the timelapse video of the construction of the new store below.

The Bunnings development is considered a game changer for the Ranfurlie team.

“It’s fantastic to open the new Bunnings and it’s a critical piece in the strategic play of Tarneit Park Hub and Tarneit Central Shopping Centre. Bunnings is such a strong brand and a key anchor for the precinct,” Ranfurlie Asset Management Development Manager, Tim Crowe comments.

The 16,500sqm superstore stocks the entire Bunnings product range of around 25,000 items and has parking space for over 430 cars.

Construction of the facility took 12 months to complete. Employment opportunities have been created for 150 brand new local team members, along with the deployment of 50 existing Bunnings staff.

“Bunnings is renowned for really supporting the local communities in which it operates,” Tim notes.

The Ranfurlie team expects to be able to announce further large format retail tenants and pad site operators at Tarneit Park Hub by mid next year.
