About the role

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Project Coordinator based in our Notting Hill or Shepparton office. As a Project Coordinator, you will report to the Northern Regional Manager and be part of a supportive team environment, built on family values. You will be responsible for the project management of all Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Dennis Family Homes spec projects, preparing tenders for new DHHS or any project-based work. Some travel is expected within Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Bringing your well-developed communication and organisational skills to the role, your main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tender pricing for any new DHHS work.
  • Preparing sales estimates for the Dennis Family Homes spec program.
  • Project management of the DHHS social housing program and the Dennis Family Homes spec program.
  • Coordinating with the internal Production team on documentation, contract pricing and issuance and preparation of site files.
  • Preparing and distributing monthly progress reports on the DHHS and Dennis Family Homes spec programs.
  • Preparing monthly contract signing and site start forecasts.

 

About You

Having worked in a similar Project Coordinator role previously, your passion for the building industry and ability to prioritise effectively will be harnessed in this role.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience within the residential or volume building industry in a Project Coordinator role
  • Experience in preparing tenders for contract building work in either Government or the private sector
  • Qualifications in Building, Construction Management, or a relevant Trade
  • Knowledge of current bylaws and regulations (Australian Standards)
  • Databuild and or Microsoft Project program experience (preferred)
  • Conversant with general Council planning processes, particularly multi-unit/site dwellings.
  • Well-developed verbal communication, written communication, and numerical skills
  • Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite, and
  • Full Australian working rights.
